We hold to the Apostolic Pentecostal faith as taught in Scripture. Our convictions are simple and clear because our hope is fixed on Jesus Christ and the authority of God’s Word.
- The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and final authority for faith and life. All doctrine and practice must be tested by Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12).
- God and Jesus
There is one God revealed in the Scriptures as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, fully divine and fully human, who lived, died for our sins, rose again, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father (John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9; Matthew 28:19; Hebrews 1:3).
- Salvation
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and includes repentance and confession of Christ. True salvation results in a new heart and a commitment to follow the Lord (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 3:19; Titus 3:5).
- Baptism in Jesus’ Name
We baptize by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, following the pattern recorded in Acts where baptism in Jesus’ name is associated with forgiveness and entrance into the new life (Acts 2:38; Acts 8:16; Acts 10:48; Acts 19:5).
- Baptism of the Holy Ghost
We believe the baptism of the Holy Ghost is given according to God’s promise and is evidenced by speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This experience empowers believers for holy living and effective service (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:1-6; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11).
- Holiness of Life
Holiness is expected of every believer. The Bible calls God’s people to be separate from sin, to pursue purity in heart and conduct, and to reflect Christ in speech, dress, relationships, and daily choices (1 Peter 1:15-16; Romans 6:1-4; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14).
- The Church and Ministry
The Church is the body of Christ. We value sound preaching, faithful teaching, worship in spirit and truth, discipleship, and pastoral leadership. Every believer is called to use spiritual gifts for the building up of the body (Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Hebrews 10:24-25).
- Divine Healing and Provision
We believe God is merciful and able to heal and provide. We seek God for physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, praying in faith for His intervention according to His will (Isaiah 53:4-5; James 5:14-15; Matthew 8:16-17; Philippians 4:19).
- The Second Coming
We affirm the personal, visible, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. We live in readiness, proclaiming the gospel and pursuing holiness until He comes (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Titus 2:13; Revelation 22:20).
